I am still in SHOCK myself!! Kyle went to a golf tournament today (I'm sure he was working VERY hard...) and he won the Grand Prize of the tournament...not for his killer score, but because they pulled his name out of a hat. He won 2 round-trip BUSINESS CLASS tickets to anywhere in the world that Delta flies!
For the last hour we have been discussing all the options and I can't imagine where we will end up going because there are so many places in our list...New Zealand, Greece, Germany, Australia, Tahiti, Italy...it goes on and on. Really the only place we can't go, but would like to someday, is the Moon! I have never flown anything but Coach class so I am crazy-excited about the chance to fly Business Class...you can check that out here.
We would love to hear any suggestions, recommendations, and of course, we are always looking for travel buddies, who, in this case would likely be riding in the back of plane in the Coach seats, since all the round trip Business Class flights we have checked cost $3000-$6000 EACH!
Just yesterday I was saying how jealous I was of the honeymooners...I guess this is my chance at a second honeymoon. I'll just have to gear up to leave my kiddos...maybe there is some type of medication for that. I'm sure somehow I'll manage :) I already feel like my old-trip-planning-live-on-pennies-to-save-some-dollars-for-a-crazy-once-in-a-lifetime-trip self again! And it feels good!! Way to go Kyle...you ARE the best husband in the world...and I can't wait to see all of it with you.

I say you go to North Dakota... you would never go there on your own! Ha ha! My only suggestion would be to go somewhere you have never been before, and that the flight is a LONG one. Since watching the Olympics I would love to see the Great Wall of China... but, I am always up for something tropical!
Hey Heather
I flew from Charlotte to SLC in First class. I tell you it was wonderful. They served my breakfast in real china plates!!!
I would go to Australia or New Zealand. You can handle a coach trip to Europe but Australia or NewZeland you will have to endure the pain for 24 hours.
I vote for this because i would love to go there when Chad is done in May.
Good luck,
Alba
My vote is for Australia, Fiji or Bora Bora since the flights are super long and expensive and you can't really country hop when you get there, like you can in Europe. You can hit up Greece, Southern Italy and S.E. Europe on another trip. I don't see you doing the Asian thing, and I know you're a Europe girl at heart, but I say try something completely new and go all out.
P.S. I'm so excited for you, I can hardly stand it!
Woo Hoo! How exciting! I don't know how you can choose! Any of the places that you mentioned would be fantastic! Kirk flies Business Class all the time, poor guy. I never have. It should be a blast!
Wow---what a perfect prize for you! I am sooo excited for you two. You deserve this.
I hear that there is a great flight down to Las Vegas that you could probably book. Kyle, who are you taking with you, have you decided yet?
OK, that last comment was really funny. Honestly, I don't even know where I'd want to go myself, so how can I give you any suggestions? I probably would pick a place furthest away, like Australia. Have you ever been to Israel? That's a place I'd like to see (or Greece, or Scotland, or Ireland, or Egypt, or New Zealand, or Morocco, or Sweden, or Russia, or ... (where do I stop?)
Congratulations - what a great thing to happen to you guys!
AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! So excited for you two! Ditto, what everyone else said about going somewhere far far away and probably somewhere you would never go. When Spencer told me the first place I thought of was FIJI. Good luck on deciding....
That is so cooooooooool. You guys should totally come and visit me in Hawaii!!!! But then again I am sure that there are some more fun places that you could go. Have so much fun where ever you go. That is just totally awesome.
You should go to the farthest place on your list to go. That way the long flight won't seem to bad because of all the extra space you have to lounge out!
I am so happy for you guys....and plenty jealous too!!! I can't wait to hear where you decide to go. If it were up to me I would go somewhere far away and tropical. Have fun!
I couldn't believe it...and I'm not even you. That is so exciting. Right now I'm up for going anywhere so anyplace sounds like heaven to me. I'm with everyone else, long flights really stink in coach so take advantage and go somewhere far far away and tropical.
