Introducing...L

Today is a big day. Today QuicKutz announced the creation of a new brand that has been years in the making. L...or Lifestyle Crafts is a new brand that will help the home crafter live a more creative life. I am so excited for the first product we are releasing. It is the Letterpress tool...shown here...

I was asked to take some photos showcasing some projects for our new website and wanted to show you a few here as well.

Here are a few of my favorite printing plates:

And with that beautiful cotton paper and twenty colors of ink...imagine the possibilities! I hope you get as excited about this as I am...anyone up for a craft night???

Obsessed.

If I could I would spend the whole day cooking from this blog...watermelon lemonade, blueberry boy bait and marshmallows would be at the top of the list!

Be Prepared!

photo by preparednesspro (I only wish this was my food storage.)

Okay, so you know that the preparedness bug bit us a while back...funny thing it took so long since my parents are preparedness die hards! Oh well...better late than never. Last week my mom went to a class to learn more about her new Sun Oven and it was taught my PreparednessPro. I spent a good chunk of last night reading her website and I am determined to take some of her classes. Check it out HERE.

True Adams girls

Tonight our Mom-in-law treated us girls to dinner...gotta love that! We always have such a great time together. We have made it a monthly tradition to get together one night every month. This was an extra special night because we were all together. Cassi (who we haven't seen since last September) was able to join us (she has been away at school in Hawaii...poor thing ;)

{I just love being with you guys...and notice we lined up for pictures in true Adams fashion...oldest to youngest...guess we are true Adams girls now. I can't wait to do it again soon!}

hmm...what to call it??

Man trip...
Orem to Jackson Hole on a motorcycle...
Adams family fun...
Wife of the Year award...
Sheer craziness...

I still can't decide what to call this. I have long been opposed to motorcycles...having my loved ones race down the highway at 65 mph with nothing between them and the asphalt but some fabric??? Sounds like fun, right? Well, 13 years of marriage have broken me down. They went and they LOVED it! In the end I am glad they had a great time, but I am even more they happy they are home safe and sound with nothing but a little wind burn to show for it! It's just cuz I love ya guys...

just had to share these pics of this BEAUTIFUL red head...

Moyle Park

Some great friends invited us to go to Moyle Park in Alpine. It is only open on Tuesday mornings and it is run by the descendants of John Moyle...you may have heard his story. He walked from Alpine to SLC to work on the temple as a stone mason. His work continued even after he lost his leg. He carved himself a wooden leg and continued the 22 mile journey every week. He was the one who carved "Holiness to the Lord" on the East side of the temple. What an inspirational story!!

It was so fun to get a taste of pioneer life...making candles, hand-washing clothes on a wash board, tasting homemade butter, & playing pioneer games! If you have never been to Moyle Park I HIGHLY recommend a visit there this summer. We all had such a great time!
