AFHS Preference

Oh, to be young again...this took me right back to high school, which in some ways really doesn't seem all that far behind, but it feels like it was at least an eternity ago in others! Crazy how that works! I was so impressed with this group of kids...kind, courteous and grateful. Sounds like they had a blast on their date! (And so did I...it was so refreshing not to have to beg anyone to look at me and smile ;)

One of my favorite families in the neighborhood...and the winner of my offering at the Relief Society Service Auction. I was so relieved that someone bid on my photo session. ;) And it was Kelli to boot! Of course we had a blast...for a good time call the McCarrels ;)

fall is in the air

Today has been a busy photography day! I snapped a few of Kendall in these beautiful leaves. Trying to make her smile I said, "...say LEAVES!" It stuck and she has been saying it ever since. We are enjoying the cool, crisp fall air and the amazing colors that never seem to stick around long enough!

These photos were taken in my friend Ines' yard, which is so full beautiful fall color. Her nephew was headed into the MTC today so I took some for her too...

Friday night Kirk and Danielle hosted their annual Halloween party. We look forward to this tradition every year...and each one seems to get even better! Somehow Shane is always the life of every party. He came dressed as Dad on Christmas morning and he put on a good show (which I've decided not to put online)...we laughed so hard it hurt. Thanks for having us Kirk and Dani! We are looking forward to next year already...and planning our costumes.

unconventional kitchen

Meet Desiree. She was the teacher of the awesome Whole Foods class that me and Melissa took together. Turns out she is redoing her website, unconventional kitchen, and needed some photography and design work done, so we are trading my skills (said, of course, in my best Napoleon Dynamite voice :) for a class. She will be coming to my ward to teach a class and you are ALL invited! ;) We have yet to set a date, but you won't want to miss it! I have learned so many great things from her. But, I will save that for another post...

Isn't she so cute? We should all be so beautiful when pregnant. ;)
