the hazards (...I mean joys...) of working from home
I turn my back for one second and look what happens...oh, well...at least the hours are good, lunch breaks are flexible and I don't miss a beat with my little "helpers". Truthfully, I wouldn't have it any other way.
{Now I am wondering if there is any room in that budget for some fresh, new chalks...}

baby Liv & big sister Elle
Today I took some pictures for my good friend Michelle. We started working together at QuicKutz 6 years ago. Time has gone so fast and so much has changed since then. I got to meet baby Liv for the first time today. She is so precious...and oh, that hair! Michelle sure knows how to make 'em!
{Michelle, it was so great to see you today. Thanks for letting me take these photos for you...here are a "few" of my favorites...}

Krissy gets a bike!
In my attempt to put off this growing up "thing" I have dragged my feet about getting a bike. Kyle came home from work with what must be the best hand-me-down ever! Our friends Spencer and Joanie gave us this bike since their little girl had grown out of it! You should have heard Krissy squeal!! She was so excited. You can bet Kendall won't be 5 the first time she rides her own 2-wheeler!!
As you can imagine, Krissy is so excited about this new bike...and her daddy is too... Thanks again Spence & Joanie!!

baby Koy's blessing day

This weekend we went to Logan for Koy's baby blessing. We had such a great time with the Tanners...holding the baby, taking photos, chasing the kids, dinner at the Olive Garden & shopping for all the food! Sunday was perfect...I don't think they could have asked for better. Hollie said she thought that it felt like heaven...and I would have to agree. We sure love you guys!

Star Mill...oh my...
Today I had the best time taking pictures at Star Mill. You may recognize Amber, I did some head shots for her a few weeks ago. Well, she came back for more and this time we went to Star Mill here in AF. I have never seen such a variety of backgrounds and props to use within such a small space. Definitely worth the $20 the owner charges to use it. Fellow photo-lovers, I highly recommend a trip there with your camera...

Krissy's 5th birthday!
We had such a great time celebrating Krissy's birthday. We had 16 girls and 1 boy here for her party...you would have thought it was something more like Christmas! She is so excited to be 5! I am glad she has such sweet friends and cousins. Thanks for making her day extra special.
(And thanks to Laura & Melissa for taking photos, my Mom for the yummy food and Britt and Kristy for crowd control...couldn't have done it without you!)

Ciao bella Italia!
Watching the big race...saying goodbye to the Cinque Terre...experiencing pure exhaustion in Milan...meeting two of the Livestrong Board of Directors members...dying to get home to the girls...
That pretty much sums it up. We had such a fabulous time...it was just magical and truly a once in a lifetime experience in so many ways. Just as we boarded the plane to go home I told myself that this was the last time we would do this in a while...that was until...we flew over the Alps...I thought I knew mountains...not even CLOSE! They were so incredible...then the plane flew over beautiful Paris...and then over Ireland. Before we were even home I was planning the next trip...sick, I know.
