My mini-me.

I hear it everywhere I go. I love my little buddy. I love her curly hair. I love how she tells me what she wants me to say...about everything. I love her fearless, spunky attitude. I love that she demands cereal and milk the minute she wakes up. I love that she doesn't want to miss out on anything. I love that she wears two different shoes most days. Of her own choosing. I love that she is three and that I can reason with her.

We found this fun idea in Family Fun magazine. It just may be one of Krissy's new favorite things to do. We went on a scavenger hunt around our yard collecting leaves and flowers from our yard to make our fairies with.

Wednesday I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. I went to Logan for a private photography lesson from Betsy Bulkley. She invited me to bring my kids to shoot and I knew I would need a sitter to help with them while we spent some time on the computer. I enjoyed every minute of it. I just wish I could have spent more time with her. Seriously, she is the highest energy photographer I have ever met. My kids have been missing her "biting" cow ever since.

It just so happens that she is moving far, far, away to Long Island, NY ;(. Her husband is going to start his residency in Emergency Medicine in a few weeks. He was kind enough to see me as an "emergency" patient while we were there. I had been to a movie 10 days earlier and had gotten some popcorn stuck in the back of my throat. True story. He was kind enough to fish it out for me, even through the gags and terrible, not to mention...embarrassing... sounds that come with them! He even taught me how to "lift" my palette. Wow. What an informative day.

Photography lessons and emergency medicine...what great people to know. It was worth every minute of the drive. The only thing missing that day in Logan was Hollie. Boo. {It's just not the same without you!} And Karyn, I so wished you would have been there with us too. Maybe some time we can all hook up.

Donut Day

Donut day was one of our favorite school days from Kindergarten...a story about Arnie the Donut, a trip to the park, and a big donut to eat...what could be better than that? Grandma invited Kendall to come along too and it was so fun to see her run with her big sister and have such a great time.

We are enjoying summer vacation, but we already miss Kindergarten so much. I totally cried the last day of school. I cried the first day of school too. What is wrong with me? We had such a great experience this year and are so thankful for Grandma Dennae.
