Our FLASHY Christmas!
Okay, it wasn't really flashy, but it was great! I have to say that because my honey surprised me with a new flash for my camera (yes Melissa the 580...I was definitely not expecting it!) He gave it to me early so I could have it for the Christmas photos. Christmas Eve Kyle and the girls played in the snow and I played with my new flash...so much to learn. On Christmas morning both of our parents came over to see the girls open presents. It was so wonderful to have them come to us. We had a very relaxing Christmas this year!!
Santa (and the grandparents) were good to us!! Krissy got Ruthie, the American Girl doll and some accessories to go with her. Kendall got a baby doll that breathes, sucks a binkie, and blinks her eyes...some crazy technology there. I am afraid Krissy has taken over nearly every present that Kendall got. I guess that is what older sisters do. I somehow don't ever remember doing that ;) I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas too. I am looking forward to having Kyle home during the next few days...and actually getting back to blogging.
Here are a few more things I don't want to forget about Christmas 2008:
* Kendall was more into the gummy Lifesavers in her stocking than her presents.
* Kyle and I woke up first...at 8:15! Then the girls woke up...Krissy couldn't wait to see if Santa had come.
* Krissy wanted to give everyone their presents before she opened hers...it was so sweet...and shocking!
* Kyle actually pulled off a great surprise with the flash and I actually pulled off a surprise for him...new cycling gear.
* Santa left each girl a note...Krissy was quick to point out that Kendall's was nicer than hers. Classic!

Nice recap! Hey, we got a Wii, too! Chris has been playing ALL day. I just told him it's time to vacuum. We should have a tournament some time. What games did you get? I can't believe how late you guys got up. Pretty soon your kids will wake you up - I can guarantee it! Congratulations on your new flash!
I am so excited that Krissy got Ruthie!! I'll have to bring Kit over to have a tea party!! Yeah!
Kids make Christmas so much sweeter! The white high chair and cradle are beautiful. And, you got a Wii. I think we may need more PD meetings at your house :)
Miss you...
YAY!! I am so excited about your flash.I love being photo buddies. How great that you were actually surprised..that is the best! And way to pull of a surprise for Kyle too. Thanks for your help with Greg's surprise. He was very thrilled about his football. These certainly are magical years. It is so much fun to have little ones that still believe and are so thrilled with every little thing!

What a perfect christmas morning. I am guessing that it could have only been better with a visit from a few more boys...LOL! I am so excited to meet Ruthie and see the loot. I want to follow you to the mall and watch what you do with all those certificates!
Whoa, sounds like a fantastic Christmas! I'm glad you all got stuff you wanted. Well, since your hubby will be home for a while, I think it's time you went out together. Call me any time! ;)
Sounds like you had a great Christmas! I'm so glad that all of your sickness made it's way out in time for the big day. We were up at 6:30 over here, so I'm jealous of your wake up time! We'll have to get together with you soon!
Okay, Hailey and Krissy have got to get together for a play date! Hailey got Ruthie earlier this fall for her birthday! She is so darling!! And don't worry, Hailey took over all of Kennedy's toys too! Reading your post was like deja vu'!
BTW...we need a girls night soon! Someone needs to call Farrah so she can set it up. ;-)
