Well, here it is.

So, for a while now I have been looking for the just the right motivation, ok, any motivation to get up earlier to exercise. I am just one of those who can work out great all summer, but as soon as it starts staying dark when I am supposed to be awake...yeah, right. In the last few weeks I have enjoyed a few of my MOST favorite treats. I have decided that when it comes to things like this I would much rather work out than give them up.

This little beauty showed up at my house today...thank you, Brittany...as a belated birthday present. Every year all I ask for is a banana cream pie from Brittany. I have eaten almost 3/4 of it today (it's a must...bananas just don't keep ;)

This was another surprise that came just a few days ago. A good friend of mine...thank you again, Ines...just returned from a trip to her beloved homeland, Germany. I was lucky enough to get my very own German chocolate candy bar. I opened it on the wrong end...not taking advantage of the re-sealable side...turns out I didn't even need it. No "freshness" issues here...gone in 2 days.

And this delight...I ate weeks ago, but have probably thought about it every day since...thank you, Tom. Yes, Tom our male-chef-Sunday-School-President-Ward-Comedian friend baked us creme brulee and boy, was it divine.

So, here it is, the motivation I have been needing. If I am wearing sweats the next time you see me, gently ask how my working out is going...

Brother! You always look great! We should do the weight loss competition like the sales team! Goal weights by Dec. 25 $100.00 gift card to University Mall.

So Funny! You and me both. I have eaten like two pounds of Sweets Christmas candy this week and it's not even Thanksgiving. Stupid chocolate covered rings and yummy taffy. Well at least we will be in it together! Besides Missy...you didn't mention that you have a little wiggle room since you are wearing all your new hot girl jeans! Enjoy it all-you deserve it all!

Oh... can I join you? I just get depressed about my weight and eat more. It's a sad cycle. I am so with you... we could even make a small wager...!

Like I always tell my walking buddy Shelly: If we weren't walking, they could roll us down the hill... I feel the same way: Eat a little chocolate today, do a lot of exercise tomorrow.

Heather...you look great. You aren't the one who has gained a whoppin 8 lbs. in the past 6 weeks. Yikes! I am all for a little wager. What a great motivator to keep exercising through the holidays. Unfortunately I ate plenty of the banana creme pie too. Some things are just too good to care about the consequences!

Great motivation! I think I'll wait until the holidays are over to get serious about exercise again. I'm afraid I know myself too well to make any wagers! :-)

I like that idea, Andrea. Although I'm currently in a state of complete peace with my eating habits, which is not so good since it involves eating whatever the heck I want and feeling just fine about it.
