Nurse for hire

I specialize in the treatment of ear infections & diabetes. I give shots, check blood sugars, administer antibiotics, & take care of horrible diaper rash from all those *darn* antibiotics...
Since Feb. 24 I figure we have been to the doctor 5 times, in addition to our 3 1/2 day hospital stay. Krissy is doing well, but poor Kendall is on her third round of antibiotics (this is day #21 of 2 doses per day) for some ear infections that won't quit.
Wish us luck!

zdI'll hire you. I am so sorry. It really pours when it rains at your house doesn't it? I feel horrible that little Kenny is having a rough go. Hopefully, this round will do the trick! Good luck!

We could have used a nurse for hire a little while back...but it sounds like you need to stay where you are needed!! Let's hope your excellent nursing skills can get everyone feeling better quickly. Poor Kendall!

Good luck! I wish I knew any good tricks or old wife's tales that might help but I don't. So sorry!

And how much does your job pay? Just kidding ;) we mothers do everything so willingly, right? You've probably already heard about the Vaseline under the Desitin (sp?) trick? It helped my kids' little bottoms. Generously spread Vaseline first, and then add the diaper rash ointment. It keeps the moisture away. Good luck!

Sorry about all of your troubles, you could really make some money in the hospitals with all of your knowledge. :)

Heather that sounds so rough! I hope that the kids are doing better now. I can definitely relate with you on the ear infections. I think we went through 5 different antibiotics before we finally decided to do the tubes. Those dang ear infections!
